Abstract :
In this paper, a generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft set (GIFSS) is introduced and its various properties are presented. The generalized intuitionistic soft fuzzy relations on GIFSS have been defined and their properties are discussed. We have also devised a new scoring function to compare two intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. An application of GIFSS, generalized intuitionistic soft fuzzy relations on GIFSS and the novel score function are demonstrated through a practical example of a multi-criteria medical diagnosis problem.
