Abstract
The entity-relationship(ER) model has proved a successful conceptual capture and modeling tool modeling for the relational data model. Much effort has recently been made to extend the relational data model to describe fuzzy temporal information , but as yet little corresponding development in ER modeling has been made. In this article we present a proposal for the fuzzy sets to conceptual modeling as an extension to ERT components to fuzzy temporal ER and we propose a notation for fuzzy representations. We describe in detail the various fuzzy temporal behaviours that entities and relationships may exhibit. The resultant ERFT may be used to fully model fuzzy temporal relational database schemata.
