  • Abstract
Calculated-theoretical and experimental data on plasmochemical gasification of charcoal and wood waste are presented in the paper. The operating experimental installation comprising a reactor, plasma generators, afterburner, gas treatment system and a diagnostic complex is described. Fields of temperatures in a reactor and structure of the produced gaseous product are given. Time-of flight mass-spectrometer and Fourier spectrometer have been used for gas chemical composition determination. In experiments the initial raw product has been gasified with efficiency of 90–95% and combustible gas with calorific value 4–6 MJ/m3 has been produced. Gas yield at charcoal gasification is 5–6 m3/kg. The obtained results are summarized and conclusions and recommendations are presented.
