Abstract :
Capacitive coupling occurs between conductors situated next to each other at different potentials and between which the currents produced by the potential difference are closing. This can be an undesired effect that affects the circuit because the active conductor is producing unwanted voltages on free potentials conductors through parasitic capacitance. In the paper will be studied two different methods to reduce the undesired capacitive coupling that appears between conductors on a PCB. Two methods of reducing capacitive coupling are studied in this paper. One is to optimize the distance between conductors and another one is the connection of an inactive conductor to ground.
