Abstract :
In the field of human health, collecting real-time data is vital. A system that can remotely monitor heart rate and body temperature is presented in this paper. The data was collected from a group of volunteers using the sensors developed by the research team to test the system. The Arduino micro-controller is programmed to transmit the data securely to a remote PC station using an XBee wireless network for display and storage. Power consumption by the system was minimized by activating the sensors when a command from a remote PC is received.
