Abstract :
Cathepsins from gut of apostichopus japonicus were prepared by ammonium sulfate fractionation, purified by DEAE-52 and Sephadex-100 chromatographic separations. Cathepsins were purified more than 66 folds and yield reduced to 1.7%. Optimal pH and temperature were 7.0 and 35°C, respectively.
