Abstract :
The campus electricity consumption in Taiwan increases steadily and causes problems to school finance. The need to save energy is urgent. This research presents a campus energy management system (CEMS), which is based on Web and database server (WebDB). With measurement and control interface, communication network, database management system, and Web portal server, a complete application platform was established. Within two national university campuses, individual-customized solutions were designed and successfully deployed in the campus. The related designs are directly beneficial to the campus energy-saving, and current research results and future directions will be described in this paper.
