  • Abstract
    The security issue in wireless sensor network is still a question that requires an efficient solution to be given. The security breaches and loopholes highly maximize the susceptibility of both internal as well as external attack in wireless sensor network. Hence, the phenomenon of data aggregation should be incorporated with an optimal security that performs robust communication security before and after the occurrences of data aggregation technique. Therefore, this paper introduces a policy that considers the usage of multi-dimensional key distribution (MDKD) scheme for securing the communication between nodes available in the wireless sensor network. The system is rendered more secure by performing node-to-node authentication scheme by modifying elliptical curve cryptography as well as Elgamal signature scheme. Finally, the proposed scheme is evaluated based on processing time in second and packet delivery ratio to find out that the proposed security scheme is highly cost-effective in nature.
