Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. The theoretical investigations of plasma field BWO excitation by high current relativistic electron beam has been carried out. The dispersion equation of hybrid rippled waveguide fined with plasma, including the intense relativistic electron beam (IREB) wan obtained. The growth rates of the main vacuum mode and the Trivelpiece-Gould modes were determined in dependence of plasma density, waveguide parameters and IREB diameter. The essential attention was paid to the influence of the value of the IREB current on the efficiency of the BWO excitation. Some nonlinear estimations of the interaction process are made. These investigations aimed to explain the recent experimental results, obtained for plasma filling of the conventional slow wave structures.
