Abstract :
Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is suitable for electro-mobile drive system for its simple structure and good reliability. And torque production is highly nonlinear function because of the doubly salient construction. To reduce the torque ripple, speed closed loop control are often used in SRM drive system. In this paper, a new kind of fuzzy self-regulating PID controller has developed to obtain better dynamic characteristics. It optimizes the quantizing factors and ratio factors of the fuzzy controller by PSO algorithm. MATLAB/Simulink 2010 is used for it has the SRM module. Results show that it can improve the settling time and overcome the overshoot of start process.
