Abstract
This paper deals with the design and development of a methodology which will support collaborative distance learning and teaching. A framework of fuzzy questionnaires and fuzzy implication operators is used to improve the acquisition and elicitation of information, which is inherently vague and imprecise, yet invaluable and informative. A mathematical formulation of the methodology is presented and discussed.
