Abstract :
This paper deals with a method for calculation of steady-state processes in PWM inverters with a sinusoidal output. The method depends on the introduction of an additional independent time variable and equally the presentation of the inverter output voltage in the space of two time variables as well as the transformation of a differential equation with one time variable into an equation with two time variables. Then, a differential equation with partial derivatives is solved by using the two dimensional Laplace transform. Furthermore, for the verification of the proposed method the calculation of differential equation with partial derivatives is also presented. The obtained results are also represented as harmonic spectra in the space of two variables.
