Abstract :
In order to reduce dust concentration and prevent gas accumulation in the underground of coal mine, coal seam water infusion and gas drainage are fundamental measures. Present hole sealing methods are just for one purpose, which makes both too many holes quantities and waste of sealing materials. A new hole packer of center-through rubber self-expandable hole packer by water pressure was developed used for both gas drainage and coal seam water infusion, then one device dual purpose was realized to one hole dual purpose. Sealing principle and device selection was introduced. With ground simulation experiment, hole packer performance was tested, such as sealing time, sealing pressure, sealing length, etc., and the test results indicate good sealing effect. With underground field test of gas drainage and coal seam water infusion, drainage negative pressure and water infusion effect were observed, whose results show that the hole packer used for gas drainage firstly and coal seam water infusion secondly has also good sealing effect. The hole packer can be used for one hole dual purpose, can be reusable, and the sealing depth is deep, which has a wide application prospect.
