Views on Chinese Technical and Vocational Education Based on an Innovation Perspective

In the knowledge economy era innovations are key to sustainable development. Technical and vocational education(shortened as TVE) plays an important role in organizational innovations and technical innovations. Now a great challenge facing China is to find the ways of good living and working sustainably and how to change people´s ideas and behaviours toward sustainability is one of the most difficult and important problems for education. TVE should play a more important role to educate innovative ideas to Chinese people and become a crucial actor for Chinese sustainable development. Some suggestions are put forward for Chinese TVE toward this goal.
