Abstract :
A plan to develop an undergraduate curriculum stem in mechatronic systems engineering at San Jose State University is outlined. The curriculum development committee identified a total 65 topics under six categories to be relevant to the mechatronic educational program. Strong emphasis has been placed on system integration aspects in the proposed curriculum. The committee also recognized the fact that mechatronic systems engineering is multidisciplinary and of the applied nature
