Abstract :
A pilot-scale removal experiment of benzene is carried out continuously for more than eight months by using biotrickling filter. Effect of inlet concentration and carrier height on the removal efficiency, and the change of pressure drop are investigated. The results show that removal efficiency of benzene is higher than 75% when the inlet concentration is lower than 175mg/m3. The removal efficiency of benzene increases gradually with the increasing carrier height. The pressure drop of the biotrickling filter is 16.9mmH2O·m-1 when the gas flow rate is 6m3/h.
