Abstract :
It is shown that the properties of tapered slot antennas (TSAs) on dielectric substrates can be analysed by employing the spectral domain method (SDM). Open-end coplanar strips and linear tapered slot antennas are examined. The numerical results are validated by measured results and those obtained from the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD). The method has potential for analyzing mutual couplings in a tapered slot antenna array
