Abstract :
We analyze a patch fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW). The CPW is cut on the ground plane of the patch, thus allowing a very easy realization. This fact, added to the low cross-polar level and reduced loss of the CPW suggest the use of such structure in large-scale automotive applications, such as collision-avoidance radars
