Abstract
The aim of this study is to assess the radiation of one or several phased horns fed by a guide. This guide is excited in two different ways: a coaxial probe or a direct excitation on its propagation mode. The finite difference time domain method is used to simulate this device and enables us to know the behaviour of the horns within a wide frequency band in only one run, and particularly the distortion of the EM field due to the diffraction phenomena in horns. When the structures are more complex, the contour FDTD method is applied, in order to get more accurate results
