The authors describe a program designed to provide hands-on project management experience as part of a rigourous academic curriculum. This is the USAF Test Pilot School “Graduate Exercise”. It is specifically designed to prepare the students for project management responsibilities, enhancing their ability to apply engineering methods to complex problems
