Abstract :
This paper suggests the use of short tapered slot antennas (TSAs) as a flexible antenna element in realising sectored antennas for high speed, increased capacity wireless LANs operating in the high microwave and millimeter wave regions. Design guidelines, typical radiation characteristics, and sectored antenna topologies based on this antenna element are presented
