Abstract :
This paper presents high-gain, high-efficiency and mass produceable planar arrays in the 60 GHz band using a single-layer slotted waveguide array. First, the waveguides are classified into three types depending upon the waveguide modes. The design and characteristics of arrays using these single-layer waveguide are presented. Further cost reduction in millimeter wave is proposed as well
