Title :
Holography in New Shoes: A Digital-Analogue Interface
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
Digital holography allows the numerical reconstruction of the entire complex wavefront by the solution of the diffraction problem in the computer. However, this new degree of flexibility in wavefront control is increased again by the application of spatial light modulators for the reconstruction of digitally stored holograms. Such a digital-analogue interface enables several new applications as for instance the holographic comparison of nominal identical but physical different objects and the flexible manipulation of tiny particles by holographic tweezers
