Abstract :
Based on the general MIMO (Multi-Input-Multi-Output) model of ANSI, this paper sets up an extended MIMO channel model for a binder of twist-pairs specified for oil exploration. This model analyzes the effect of far end crosstalk (FEXT), near end crosstalk (NEXT) and transmission power. By the measurement of the cable´s characteristics, an instantiated model is got. Then the noise power of this cable is measured by a spectrum analyzer, thus the numerical model of the SNR and capacity is obtained. Lastly, the effects caused by crosstalk, crosstalk elimination of data MIMO channel and proposed crosstalk elimination method are analyzed and compared. This paper is expected to provide theoretical basis for the design of signal detection and error correction code, and be helpful to the relative applications.
