Abstract
A flared horn antenna has been developed for use with an experimental airborne radar which is described by Lewis (1). This antenna is designed to provide polarisation independent orthogonal linear and circularly polarised radiation patterns with low sidelobes in the azimuth and elevation planes. The horn design required trade-offs between mass, performance and swept volume
