Abstract :
This paper describes an implementation of a linear programmable transconductance cell with low distortion and bias currents in the range of 100 nA-300 nA. The power dissipation is approximately 1.5 μW at 3V supply for a 2Vp-p input range and approximately 900 nW at 3V supply for a 1Vp-p input range. The total harmonic distortion (THD) is -42 dB for a input voltage of 2Vp-p. The programmable transconductance cell can be tuned by varying its bias currents. Simulation and experimental results have been used to confirm its operation
