  • Abstract
Leukemia HL60 cells are inactivated by quantum dots with the photoluminescence characteristic in vitro. The quantum dots of CdSe and CdSeS were studied at different concentrations and different light doses. The highest inactivation efficiency of CdSe-PDT runs up to 83.0%, under the condition that its concentration is 2.0μmol/ml and the light dose is 8J/cm corresponding to 410nm wavelength. However, the highest inactivation efficiency of CdSeS-PDT is just 45.9% when its concentration is 8.0μmol/ml and the light dose is 6J/cm corresponding to white light.
