Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an ethical conflict resolution modeling using group disutility functions for the case when the location of a large-scale refuse incineration plant for plural cities is needed to decide. By using a group disutility function under convex dependence for two conflicting agents such as the representative of each city, the mutual concessions of the two conflicting agents can be modeled taking into account ethical preference of each decision maker, and hence fairer multiple-agent decision making for realizing better social welfare can be expected. The aim of the model is to make empirical consensus among conflicting groups.
