Abstract
Object-oriented methodology has developed to the point where it has the potential for being a powerful tool in the arsenal of the systems engineer. This paper suggests that the time is ripe for systems engineers to assimilate the method. Such assimilation will require modifications in the method to make it generalizable outside the software design environment. This paper presents the lessons learned from a systems engineering project where the object-oriented method is being applied to explore the scope and possibility of such assimilation.
