Abstract
This paper addresses the problem of designing and implementing a three-dimensional orthonormal nonseparable perfect reconstruction (PR) QMF bank. Wavelet bases can be obtained from this PR QMF bank that is realized with wave digital filters. Infinite length signals may be processed with the proposed stable four-channel multirate system, that uses a body centered cubic sampling lattice. A two-dimensional 4-channel PR QMF bank using a hexagonal sampling matrix is also shown
