Abstract :
The paper firstly discusses the data type of the mobile storage and smart phones. Then the smart phones based on Windows Mobile system, RAPI and MAPI are studied. Finally, we developed a mobile forensic software system which based on Windows Mobile. The system uses ActiveSync to connect mobile phones and PC, and uses RAPI to extract data to PC, then displays it on a user-friendly interface. This system would be an important information-gaining tool.
