Abstract :
The usage of e-learning tools has brought an immediate benefit to the teaching field for both academics and students, allowing them to have a better administration of time and a permanent access to the class content. Moreover, the increase in the use of mobile devices is becoming more notable as it is the need for accessing information from any place one is at is more extensive. The enormous popularity of the Internet and its use amongst society is an unavoidable fact, and the wireless access technology is trying to unify both worlds: mobile devices and Internet access. This article presents the definition of a scheme that proposes accessing to an e-learning tool (named Dokeos) through PDA devices, taking the appearance of usable and consistent interfaces from any presentation as main foundation; it also presents the results obtained from the usability tests applied to some University teachers as a main users.
