  • Abstract
Pickling waste liquor was added into electroplating wastewater as a raw material and NaOH was used as a precipitant. Reacting pH (pH 7-11), volume ratio of electroplating wastewater(V1) to pickling waste liquor (V2) (V1:V2=2:1-20:1), and reaction time (5-30min) were studied by microwave hydrothermal process to synthesize ferrite. Treatment effect was determined by analyzing supernatant with Inductively Coupled Plasma Atom Emission Spectrometer(ICP-AES). Stability of synthesized ferrite was studied by Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP). Properties of ferrite were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). Synthesized ferrite showed a good characteristic of soft magnetic property with pH=11, V1:V2=5:1 and 30min.
