  • Abstract
Knowledge sharing is to make knowledge available to other members within the organization. As the next generation Web technologies continue to emerge, the existing knowledge sharing schemes are the lack of a uniformly access to cope with the heterogeneous effects, including various knowledge presentation, information format, and distributed knowledge resources. To allow interoperability among the various sharing knowledge, a common standard is needed to uniformly access sharing knowledge. The Web feeds provide a catalytic solution to this problem. This study addresses these issues developing a RSS-based Knowledge Sharing Platform (RKSP) which is based on RSS feeds and is implemented in the Web 2.0 environment. To illustrate the RKSP applications, we demonstrate knowledge sharing of project team can be acquired from heterogeneous and distributed knowledge resources, including blog, social bookmark, and Web multimedia.
