  • Abstract
In this paper a fractal based microstrip patch antenna has proposed for the multiband operations at the same time mainly designed for wireless power transmission (WPT) system with low profile and light weight. Then the proposed design of antenna achieved by basic rectangular patch that iterated up to 3rd level, with the shape of rectangular cuttings. Here, microstrip feed is used to excite the antenna. This design of antenna operated in the frequency range of 1 to 5 GHz. The proposed design of fractal antenna resonant at four different frequencies (i.e.,) 1.86/2.29/3.02/4.50 GHz and their respective return loss values are 13.59/-23.66/-15.94/-15.69dB. The simulation of the proposed antenna is done by Ansoft HFSS v 13 (high frequency structure simulator).
