Abstract
It is shown that a large class of adaptive feedforward controllers having a sinusoidal regressor (i.e. a regressor comprised exclusively of sinusoidal signals), can be written as the parallel connection of a purely linear time-invariant (LTI) subsystem and a linear time-varying subsystem is important because it can be readily analyzed and designed using modern robust control tools applicable to LTI systems with norm-bounded perturbations
