Abstract :
In today´s culture, electricity is a vital part of functioning as a society. No Power is Costlier than No Power. So electricity becomes the indispensable one to us. And in the smart grid environment, the electricity consumers will act in response to electricity demand. But the construction of large generating plants like Thermal, Nuclear, Atomic and Wind Power Station and Plants takes many years. The Government is determining the demand of electricity well in advance. So, demand is to be forecasted for smooth running of all works in society. This paper presents a state-of-the-art survey of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Dataset structure and Electricity Load Demand of Madurai Metro, Madurai EDC, Theni, Dindugal, Ramnad and Sivagangai Circles of Madurai Region in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) are forecasted by Gaussian Process and WEKA Data Mining Tool using real time data.
