Abstract :
This paper proposes a communication system for vehicle using laser and corner cubes. This system consists of a laser emitter and a retro-reflector. The laser emitter system transmits the intensity modulated laser beam. And a photodetector system receives the modulation beam. A reflector returns the beam toward the emitter system and the beam received by a photodetector in the emitter system. The communication from the reflector to emitter is achieved by means of the corner cubes. Four modulation methods are proposed and discussed with effective experiments
