Abstract :
Polychlorinated biphenyl is a kind of persistent organic pollutants. Through isolating and purifying, the isolated bacterial strains high-effectively degrading PCBs were successfully identified as micrococcus and short bacillus according to their morphological characters. By acclimation, their capacities for the degradation were enhanced. By tests, the eliminating effects of the growth conditions were studied, and the best conditions of degrading were: 303K, pH = 7, and 5mL inoculation amount. The degraded ratio reached 98.2% after 7 days.
