Abstract
In this paper, we consider the problem of simultaneously estimating the directions and frequencies of multiple signal sources arriving in an antenna array. We present an algorithm for joint angle-frequency estimation in colored noise. Through a special state-space model, we transfer the parameters estimated into system matrices of the state-space model. Constitute cross third-order cumulant to restrain Gaussian colored noise through auxiliary matrix. Then we use subspace method to get the estimation of the system matrices. The computational complexity of the algorithm is comparatively small compared with other joint estimation algorithms. The parameters estimated can be paired automatically moreover. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.
