Abstract :
Frequently several PhotoVoltaic (PV) plants has to be monitored by an unique supervision centre (we can say that the plants constitute a “constellation” from the point of view of storing and transferring data). In this case the analysis of the whole population of data by means of statistical approach requires long time and it is not always possible. In the paper it is presented a procedure of analysis based on sampled data; this approach allows to detect if anomalies are present and which PV plant is interested. So, an in depth analysis (based on the population of data) will be carried out only for inefficient PV plants. The paper proposes a resampling method, so-called bootstrap, able to approximately describe the sampling distribution. Its peculiarity consists in taking information about the population of the data (whichever its distribution is) and giving quickly preliminary information about the operation of the PV plants.
