Abstract :
In a developing process of a electrical car, a finite element model of body in white (BIW) is created, use the finite element model to do a modal analysis and get the BIW´s first 30 order modal frequency values and characteristics, then do a first torsion modal frequency, first bending modal frequency, BIW mass sensitivity analysis according to the BIW parts´ thickness, based on the analysis results, obtain the sensitive parts of the first torsion mode, the first bending mode and BIW mass, provide a foundation for the optimum design variables´ choosing.
