Welcome from the Tool Track Chair

In the Tool Demonstration Track researchers and practitioners present the current research tools and prototypes that assist the maintenance, evolution and reengineering of software systems. While in the main track algorithms and approaches are discussed mostly from a theoretic perspective, in the Tool Demonstration track the technical and practical side are emphasized.In this edition of CSMR the competition for the tool demos was quite high (for a tool demo track), with 5 submissions accepted out of 9.We will have the tool demo session during the first day of the conference, so that the presenters can show the purpose and the main features of their tools. For the remainder of the conference a room will be available for tool demo presenters in order to deliver personal and customized demonstrations.We thank all the submitters to CSMR´s tool demo track for their efforts and the tool demo committee members for their valuable work in reviewing and discussing the tool demo submissions.
