Abstract
A parametric study of the effects of substrate permittivity, pulse-width, and line-length on interline crosstalk is presented. The technique utilized to determine the crosstalk system transfer function is Fourier theory and linear system theory which is based upon accurate wide-range closed form expressions for the frequency-dependent parameters. The substrate loss, line loss, and line thickness correction factor are included in the calculation. The study reveals a nonlinear relationship with respect to substrate permittivity and line-length
