Abstract :
Nonlinear distorsion of the radio-over-fiber (ROF) link and multipath dispersion of the wireless link are the major factors limiting the performance of a fiber based wireless system. In order to recover the transmitted signal from the received signal, we propose a semi-blind approach based on an input precoding inducing redundancy. The approach suggested is deterministic and makes it possible to jointly estimate the channel, represented by means of a Wiener model, and the input sequence. The channel is estimated by using a pilot sequence then the symbols are estimated by solving a triangular system of polynomial equations.
