Abstract :
This paper addresses the use of reduced FOV (field-of-view) imaging with spatially variable resolution for 3-D MR coronary angiography. Details involved in using the technique for reducing imaging time and facilitating the management of respiratory motion are discussed. The technique was evaluated with phantom experiments and right coronary artery images of 11 asymptomatic volunteers using a 0.5 T MR system
