Abstract :
This paper proposes an equivalent magnetic circuit model for analyzing surface-interior permanent magnet synchronous motor. The magnetic resistances of the iron cores and the assembly gaps, and the leakage flux around the permanent magnets are fully taken into account in the model and solved using iterative method.
