Technology education: Implications for engineering education

An approach to eliminating the problem of technical illiteracy through the implementation of technology education is proposed. It is shown how the proposed course of action can make math and science an enjoyable and integral part of every child´s education, and some pointers on how the profession can get involved are offered.
