Abstract :
Summary form only given. Geometry of the objects is invariant to light, rotation, position, dirtiness, etc., and for quality inspection purposes in a manufacture line it is a main concern. Gathering 3D information from objects under inspection is done in this research work, combining stereo vision and structured light in order to simplify the correspondence problem in the stereo images pair. All the results are quantified in a prototype built with two cameras and a structured light source.
