Abstract
In this paper we introduce our new protocol, RSOCKS which enables Internet client to access to the server in the guarded network inside NAT/FW. There are some methods to solve this problem, including the port forwarding and SOCKS. However these protocols assume the situation that the server application is installed a server computer and fixed to the network. In the future it is thought that the application servers are installed to mobile terminals or non-PC equipments. The conventional methods are not always suitable for such situation. RSOCKS enables the application installed mobile terminals traverse NAT and expose it to the Internet securely.
